Installation Instructions

Attach the Chlorgon Water Filter to the hose bib by screwing it clockwise onto the faucet.

Maintenance

  • To maintain optimal performance, open the filter housing by unscrewing the two halves counterclockwise. Reverse the direction of the Chlorgon cartridge and check that the O-ring is properly seated.
  • Apply a small amount of Vaseline in the O-ring channel if needed to hold it in place before reassembling.

Cartridge Replacement
Replace the #W5424 Chlorgon Cartridge every 6-18 months, depending on water conditions. To replace, open the housing, remove the old cartridge, and insert a new one, ensuring the O-ring is seated correctly.


Care Recommendations

  • Avoid leaving the system under constant pressure. Turn off the faucet when not in use to relieve pressure and protect the filter housing.
  • Secure your garden hose to prevent stress on the Chlorgon housing when moving or pulling the hose.
